EU youth strategy at local level
This practical handbook helps local actors in their work to increase young people's participation in EU affairs.
In the handbook, we present how Sweden’s and the EU’s youth policies are interconnected and how local actors can take support from European and national strategic documents, such as the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and Sweden’s Youth Policy Communication.
The handbook also shows how different tools can be used to work in an evidence-based fashion and from a rights-based youth perspective, and how to make use of the opportunities provided by the EU youth programmes.
